Community
We take every opportunity to embrace our local community. We understand that community ties are important and encourage consumers to get involved and stay connected. Throughout the year we invite the wider community into our home to celebrate events such as birthdays, holidays and special occasions.

The JE Murray Home is a fully accredited 78-bed residential care facility for consumers who require high care and low care. This also includes a dedicated Residential Respite Bed. We strive to provide a comfortable, enjoyable place to live while also providing the security of 24-hour clinical care.

The Department of Health website has a Residential Care Fee Estimator which can help you estimate the fees and charges you may be asked to pay while living in an aged care home.
Government assistance eligibility for Consumers entering care after 1 July 2014 is determined by a means testing assessment involving a combined income and asset test. If you feel that you qualify for assistance you can obtain advice of your eligibility either from Centrelink or DVA.
Residents can choose how they pay the agreed accommodation price as per the pricing list below:
A new Resident has up to 28 days to choose how they are going to pay the agreed accommodation price. We recommend that you seek financial advice when making this important decision. In cases where no lump sum payment is received, or when the combination option is selected, Dale Cottages may require the resident to complete the guarantee and indemnity provisions in the agreement.
You can find more information on our rooms and our pricing structure on the My Aged Care Website.
