This year the Greendale Centre and Dale Cottages residents ran a gift basket drive. The Greendale Centre in partnership with Essential Personnel (who provide so many of our wonderful volunteers), decided to give back to those who could use a helping hand. The residents and community members were awesome with their donations and it was wonderful that our baskets have gone to help others at this special time of year. Thank you to all our residents, community members and volunteers who put the baskets together.

I just wanted to pass on another big thank you to all your residents who donated to our clients, I was totally overwhelmed by it all when I came yesterday and didn’t have time to have a good look at it all. This morning we have gone through our caseload and have decided whom we are sending these off to. Most of the clients who are receiving these have children and therefore this will help them greatly. Christmas is a hard time for a number of our clients who suffer from mental health and to give them these lovely gifts will show them that there are people out there who care about them.
